Bell Ingram Microgeneration has expanded
Bell Ingram is delighted to announce the recent appointment of Nigel Benson as Microgeneration Consultant based in the Perth Office.
Nigel provides objective, unbiased advice on all aspects of sustainable energy systems, such as: heating, lighting, ventilation, insulation, heat recovery, rain water collection, passive solar, glazing and sustainable materials. He has a detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems relating to solar thermal/photovoltaic systems, hydro, heat pumps, biomass and wind turbines.
Speaking of the appointment Graham Lumby, Managing Director, said: 'I am very excited to have Nigel join us. Bell Ingram took to a very foresighted stance a few years ago by appointing Joe Fergusson as our first Microgeneration Consultant, a move which has proven to be extremely successful. Like Joe, Nigel will be a great asset to clients looking reduce their energy requirement and costs and make their existing systems more sustainable and I look forward to working with him on the many projects we have in the pipeline. He will also help us to increase our dominance in this specialist area within Tayside and Central Scotland.'
Nigel has over 25 years experience as a building services engineer having worked for number of large corporations, developing energy efficient solutions and providing cost saving equipment. In more recent years, Nigel has worked as a consultant for the Energy Saving Trust providing energy efficiency reports for small business throughout Scotland.
Nigel is an accredited energy auditor for the Energy Saving Trust and a qualified provider of Energy Performance Certificates for both domestic and commercial premises. He can also provide detailed thermographic analysis of projects and visually demonstrate the heat losses from a building.
Nigel will be working alongside Joe Fergusson, as part of Bell Ingram's expanding Renewables team.
