Tay Estuary Forum Launch Five Year Plan

Andrew Robertson (Aberdeen Office) has been assisting the Tay Estuary Forum with the preparation of a recently launched five-year Management Plan: a non-statutory document aimed at promoting future sustainable management in the Tay Estuary and along the adjacent coastline.
The Management Plan covers the region from the River North Esk on the Angus Coast to Fife Ness; including the Tay Estuary to Scone. It aims to unite the many initiatives operating along this diverse stretch of coast into a sustainable framework, ensuring future vitality of the region. Management Plans are currently being distributed in and around the TEF region over the forthcoming months.
Over the next year, the TEF will be working to implement Year 1 Actions listed in the Management Plan and progress will be reported on at the 2010 conference.
