Bill McConnell retires after 38 years with Bell Ingram
18May2010
Bill McConnell joined Bell Ingram in 1972 as an architectural technician based in the Durn in Perth and went on to work in the planning department before having the foresight in 1995 to employ a team of Architects and set up Bell Ingram Design, from which the company still benefits today. Testament to Bill's drive and determination is the legacy of Architects, Building Surveyors and Planning Consultants that make up Bell Ingram Design, a wholly owned subsidiary, based in Bell Ingram's Perth, Forfar and Inverness offices and working closely as an integral part of the Bell Ingram family.
A celebratory drinks party was held at the Durn in Perth on Friday 14th May during which Graham Lumby, Managing Director, presented Bill with retirement gifts from his friends and colleagues: a beautiful handmade sporran, a silver quaich and a painting of 'Cairngorm' by J D Fergusson.
Whilst retiring as a Director of both Bell Ingram and Bell Ingram Design Bill will continue to work in London as a Building Surveyor on series of PPI education projects.
We wish Bill all the best in his retirement from Bell Ingram
