Bell Ingram & Youngs Chartered Surveyors (Forfar)
27th June 2005

Graham Lumby & Malcolm Taylor

As of 1st July 2005 Bell Ingram will be joined by the Forfar business of Youngs Chartered Surveyors, to further expand the growing office base of one of Scotland’s most successful firms of Chartered Surveyors. Bell Ingram operates primarily in rural land management and also provides architectural and building surveying services as well as estate agency and forestry consultancy, all of which will be available through the Forfar Office.

Graham Lumby, Managing Director of Bell Ingram says, “This is a very exciting opportunity for us to grow our core business of rural land management within Scotland and takes the firm into the heart of Angus, where in the past we have only really operated on the periphery. This merger will provide the Forfar Office with a much wider support network of in-house specialists and the staff at Youngs operate with the same high standards of quality and professionalism that make Bell Ingram one of Scotland’s leading firms of rural based surveyors. The joining together of the two companies will help to create a greater force within the rural property surveying world and shows that the Directors of Bell Ingram are committed to continuing to expand our services in the rural sector. With the Forfar Office, we will now be operating from seven bases throughout Scotland, in addition to our four office bases south of the Border.”

Malcolm Taylor will be joining the Board of Directors and his colleagues Richard Fawcus and Lynn Nesbitt will join Bell Ingram as Associate Directors, along with a further nine employees and Consultants which includes the Resident Factor at Glamis Estate. Malcolm Taylor comments, “We are absolutely delighted with the merger and look forward to continued development of the Forfar Office business under the Bell Ingram banner.” For the Forfar Office staff and their existing clients, this will mean business as usual, albeit with direct access to an extended range of services available to clients. For new clients Bell Ingram can now offer a greater geographic coverage with the inclusion of the Forfar office.
