Landowners Urged to Make the Most of SFGS Grants
Currently Available in Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, Dumbartonshire and
Renfrewshire.

The Scottish Forestry Grants Scheme is to be reviewed shortly and
Bell Ingram is helping farmers to consider the options open to them,
enabling them to take full advantage of unprecedented available
returns.
Bell Ingram is successfully undertaking a number of schemes,
primarily from their Perth and Ayr offices, to make the most of the
unique opportunities provided by the Locational Premium grants
currently available from the Forestry Commission in Ayrshire,
Glasgow and the Clyde Valley.
In addition to covering over 90% of establishment costs, landowners
can obtain:

- Premium payment of up to £5,000 per ha. tax free
- Compensation for loss of agricultural income up to £300 per ha.
per annum
- Consolidation of Single Farm Payment meaning no loss of subsidy
for planted land
- Further grants for woodland around towns
