A PARTICULARLY FINE NEW FAMILY HOME SET IN SPECTACULAR SCENERY WITH APPROXIMATELY 1.4 ACRES OF LAND

>>>Location Map

Offers over £230,000 SOLD

SITUATION

Banscol Lodge is situated in East Sutherland on the north side of Strath Fleet amidst the stunning scenery associated with this part of the Highlands.

The village of Rogart lies some 5 miles to the south of the property where there is a primary school, railway station, post office and stores. Further facilities are at Golspie with its secondary school, hospital and sports centre and at Dornoch which is the administrative centre for the area. The city of Inverness can be reached in just over an hour by car and provides all the facilities commensurate with a major regional centre including regular air and rail links throughout the UK.

Proximity to the East coast gives access to a wealth of great golf courses with Dornoch, Skibo, Brora and Golspie all within 30 minute drive. The East coast is generally well known for miles of sandy beaches which are among some of the cleanest in Britain. The Rivers Brora, Oykel, Shin and Cassley to the West provide excellent salmon fishing opportunities while numerous hill locks in the area offer very accessible trout fishing.

DIRECTIONS

Travel north from Inverness on the A9 crossing the Kessock, Cromarty and Dornoch Firth bridges. Continue northward on the A9 crossing Loch Fleet at the Mound and take the first turn left on the A839 towards Rogart and Lairg. At Rogart take the first right turn just after the Pittentrail Inn. Follow the minor road out of the village and after some 5 miles the property is on the left.
