ACCOMMODATION
Corriemulzie Lodge is located in Strathmulzie overlooking the
river with commanding views up the glen to Seana Bhraigh. The
Corriemulzie Estate offers a variety of sporting opportunities
over 50,000 acres including salmon and trout fishing and stalking.
The Lodge has 4 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin and 1 single) 2 bathrooms,
sitting room, dining room and kitchen. The adjacent annex has
2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both Lodge and Annex have full central
heating with an open fire in the Lodge sitting room. Access
is by a six mile private track from the public road at Oykel
Bridge.
FISHING
Salmon fishing is included with the lodge on the rivers Mulzie,
Einig and Rappach. The water is ‘fly only’ and in good water
conditions excellent sport can be enjoyed. The Mulzie which
passes immediately below the lodge includes 12 named pools and
includes the well known loch Coiremhor in the most secluded
and beautiful situation at the head of the strath.
Trout fishing for wild brown trout and stocked rainbow trout
is also available on a number of hill lochs.
STALKING
Red deer stalking is available for two rifles over one of the
finest deer forests in Sutherland. An average of 65 stags are
shot each year with a weekly expectation of 6 stags to each
rifle. Hind stalking is also available by arrangement from 20
October onwards.
