Easter Eskadale Farmhouse is a substantial three-bedroom property which is set in approximately one and a half acres of garden ground. The property is in need of upgrading and modernisation. It has single glazing and oil-fired central heating.
The Farmhouse is accessed by a gate to the front garden from where a path leads to the entrance porch. From the entrance porch, a door opens to the hallway which gives access to the living room and dining room. Stairs rise to the upper floor.
To the right of the hall is the living room which has a window to the front overlooking the garden and an open fire on a tiled hearth. The dining room again has an open fire and a window to front.
A door from the dining room leads to the utility area which has units in cream and a stainless-steel sink. A door from the utility opens to the bathroom, which is a three-piece suite comprising WC, wash hand basin and bath.
From the dining room a door takes you to an inner hallway under which has an understairs cupboard and a second flight of stairs to the upper floor.
The kitchen sits off this hall and has an AGA and base and wall units in cream with a wood effect worksurface. A window to the front overlooks the garden.
Returning to the main hall and a stair leading to the upper floor. Bedroom one has a window to the front overlooking the garden. There is a small box room and a built-in storage cupboard. Bedroom two has built-in double wardrobes with mirrored doors and a storage cupboard.
A door opens to the second landing which has a further box room. Bedroom three again has a window to the front overlooking the garden. All of the bedrooms are double in size.
The second staircase leads back to the inner hallway.
Easter Eskdale Farmhouse is accessed via a shared track from the main road to a private driveway and parking area to the side of the property. There are good sized garden grounds surrounding the house which extend to approximately 1.5 acres. The garden is laid to grass with some mature trees and bushes. There is a large stone-built steading which offers excellent development potential (subject to necessary consents). There is also a wooden store and greenhouse.
