From Oban, take the Calmac ferry to Tiree, arriving at the port of Scarinish. Upon alighting the ferry, follow the road up towards the village where it meets the main island road. Turn left and follow the B8065 island road for around 4.5 miles, taking care for livestock and pedestrians. Turn left onto the B8066 and continue for a further 3 miles. Upon entering Hynish village, continue past the visitor centre, following the road to the right.
