      From Forfar travel southeast on the B9128. After leaving the village of Kingsmuir, travel for a further half mile and bear right at the signpost for Dunnichen, Letham and Forfar. Follow the road for about 3 miles and at the village of Craichie turn left, signposted for Bowriefauld and Letham. Mains of Craichie Farmhouse is the last property on the left at the National Speed Limit sign.
