The site is located to the west of Heather Cottage, Dalchreichart and is outlined in pink on the plan. The site rises steeply from the road and flattens out towards the rear of the site. Extending to approximately 0.587 hectares (1.45 acres) access is via a hardcore driveway leading onto a further grass track that loops round the east side to rejoin the driveway. The land is mostly heather and bracken with some birch trees in the gravel pit and to the east of the driveway.
Full Planning Consent was granted on 2nd May 2019 (Ref: No: 19/01295/FUL), this has now expired, and planning will need to re-apply for. The owners of the adjoining property, Heather Cottage, have a servitude right of access over the route coloured brown and maintenance of this access is to be on an “according to use” basis.
