Upper Tullochbeg is a two-storey timber lodge house which was built in 2008. It is extensively wood panelled, 70mm thick solid kiln dried structural Douglas fir tongue and grooved, internally and the exterior is 22mm thick solid kiln dried Douglas fir cladding. The full height windows on both the lower and upper floors take full advantage of the views from the elevated location.
A solid door opens into the vestibule which has a window to front and opens into the hallway where the is a storage cupboard under the stairs. Immediately to the left and right are two bedrooms, one of which has built in
wardrobes. Next is the family bathroom wet wall lining, a WC, wash basin, bath and a good-sized separate shower. A window to the side provides natural light and there is a storage cupboard.
Following through is the family room which is open to the kitchen. It has full height picture windows with far-reaching views over the surrounding
countryside. A focal point is the log burning stove which sits on a raised hearth.
Kitchen units are light grey in colour with contrasting worktops. The appliances include an electric slot in cooker with hood above, free-standing dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is an inset 1.5 bowl sink and mixer tap,
a larder unit and matching dresser display. Two windows overlook the rear and French doors open out to the garden.
Just off the kitchen is the utility room with a base unit, inset stainless steel sink/mixer tap, a wall mounted LPG Worcester boiler, and a free-standing washing machine. An external door opens to the rear.
On the upper floor is a feature sitting room full floor to ceiling windows, again taking full advantage of the panoramic views. Two further windows overlook the front and rear. Off this room is the master bedroom which has a built-in
double wardrobe. The en suite shower room has a WC, wash basin, corner electric shower, is wet wall lined and screening, and has a window to the front.
