      From Inverness take the A9 north crossing the Kessock Bridge. Continue until you reach the signpost for the Black Isle on the right. Take this turning and follow the road through Munlochy. At the T junction take the right-hand turn for Fortrose. In Fortrose turn left at Church Street, which is just before the pedestrian crossing. Continue up Church Street, past the Feddon Hill turnoff. After about one mile there is a right turn marked for Ord Hill and Hillhaven B&B, take this turn and continue for about another mile, past Hillhaven B&B, down steep hill. At the bottom of the hill the road forks, take the right-hand fork past Ord Hill Farmhouse. Whitefield is approximately 150 metres further on.
