About: Hollie is a degree apprenticeship student enrolled on the BSc (Hons) Real Estate Surveying Degree Apprenticeship at Edinburgh Napier University. On completion of her degree, she aims to become a qualified chartered surveyor and hopes her placement with Bell Ingram will provide her with a wide variety of experiences to develop her knowledge and further her progression towards completing her APC.

One of Hollie’s notable achievements includes being selected to represent Scotland in Mounted Games at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in 2019, where she had the honour of performing in front of the late Queen. Additionally, Hollie is an active member of the Biggar Young Farmers Club. She participates in a variety of social events and represents her club in numerous competitions at the club, district, and national levels. These activities include speechmaking, handicrafts, tug of war, and many others.

      About: Joe has more than 20 years’ experience advising private and corporate clients on all aspects of renewable energy systems. From pre-feasibility advice to project management, his remit includes hydro, biomass, wind, heat pumps, solar, biogas, battery storage, electric vehicle charging, heat networks and combined heat and power. Joe also has a broad knowledge of sustainable building design. Appointed in 2002 as Scotland’s first Community Renewables Development Officer, he developed the Scottish Community & Householder Renewables Initiative (SCHRI) in South West Scotland, reporting to the Energy Saving Trust. Joe is a qualified National Home Energy Rating surveyor with a broad and deep knowledge of building-scale renewable energy systems and grant support schemes.

      Interests: Low Impact Building Design, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Development.

        About: Gregor is a highly experienced Land Agent, working across a wide spectrum of clients within the utilities and forestry sector. He has a BSc (Hons) in Sustainable Environmental Management from Scotland’s Rural University College and joined Bell Ingram in 2019 from the Registers of Scotland where he worked on the land register.

          About: Geoff is the Service Head of Bell Ingram’s Forestry and Utilities (Scotland) services. He is both a RICS Chartered Surveyor and a fully qualified Forester with a focus on utility and infrastructure clients. Geoff’s expertise includes acquisitions, wayleave and servitude agreements and compensation claims, along with extensive experience of all aspects of woodland management for a range of corporate and private clients. His remit includes providing specialist forestry advice relating to new woodland creation, crop compensation losses, tree felling approval, standing sales and compensatory planting sites.
