Situation

St Fillans is a charming picturesque village situated on the edge of Loch Earn and within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.  There is an excellent village shop, church, hotels, village hall and golf course with a primary school close by in Comrie and secondary school in Crieff whilst Morrisons Academy and Ardvreck Preparatory School offer private education.  Perth and Stirling are both within easy reach and offer the full facilities of a regional centre including shops, theatres and mainline rail connections.  Edinburgh and Glasgow are both within one hour’s drive.

The surrounding countryside offers many recreational opportunities including golf courses, water sports, hill walking and fishing on Loch Earn and nearby salmon rivers.  There is a resident sea plane on Loch Earn which can be hired for pleasure or flying lessons.
