The croft extends to approximately 10.28ha (25.4acres) in two blocks of land either side of the public road through Achachork. It is mostly well fenced, providing rough grazing for livestock on unimproved grassland and is registered with SGRPID and is eligible to receive LFASS and BPS payments.
There is a large agricultural shed approx. 14m x 8m (45ft x 25ft) of steel frame construction with steel profile sheeting, a concrete floor and concrete block side-walls. There is a good access track from the public road.
Planning Permission in Principle was granted on 14th March 2023 under reference 22/05927/PIP for the erection of a single dwelling house on the croft. The plot is in the process of being de-crofted.
Follow the A855 from Portree signposted Staffin. After approximately 1 mile turn left into Achahork and Croft 7 is located on the road and extends to the left and right. The plot is on the left and marked by a sale board.
