Croft 13, Balla extends to approximately 5.108 hectares (12.62 acres) and comprises a crofting tenancy in a well-regarded area of Eriskay. The croft is situated in an open coastal position with wide views over the surrounding landscape and towards the sea.
The croft comprises rough grazing for sheep, cattle and Eriskay ponies.
The croft is subject to crofting legislation but is eligible to receive agricultural and crofting support from SGRPID.
There are also grazing rights for 10 sheep and 2 cows on the Ben Screin area of the Island of Eriskay Common Grazings.
The transfer of croft is subject to Crofting Commission approval.

From South Uist, take the A865 south following signs for Eriskay. Continue to the end of the road and cross the Eriskay Causeway.
After crossing onto Eriskay, at the T junction turn right and follow the coastal road until you reach Balla, continue along this road and pass the cemetery. Shortly after the road splits, take the right fork and follow until the end. A small area of the croft is to the right on the shore side and then extends up to the left above the road and straddles the road Rathad na h-Eaglaise.
