Situated on Albert Street, a traditional residential street above the picturesque coastal town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, Penmore Cottage offers buyers an opportunity to acquire a beautifully presented two-bedroom mid-terrace property, a wonderful family home offering accommodation over two levels. The property is entered from the front elevation with the main entrance door leading through to a central hallway. To the left, a comfortable family lounge benefits from views out to the front and features a striking cast-iron fire surround with a period open fireplace, offering warmth and comfort in equal measure.

To the right of the hallway, the dining room also enjoys views to the front and is large enough to accommodate an eight-seater dining table – the perfect place to entertain family and friends. The dining room is also fitted with a period fireplace.

A doorway to the rear of the dining room gives access to the kitchen which is positioned to the rear of the property. The fully fitted layout features a range of cream-coloured wall and floor units, complimented by a contrasting wood effect roll-top worktop.

The property benefits from a ground floor WC, which is located under the staircase, along with a storage cupboard which is also located under the stairs.

Accommodation is provided by way of two sizable bedrooms, each of which are located on the first floor of the property, linked by a central landing. Each of the bedrooms features a wash basin, while one of the rooms also features a built-in airing cupboard,
also housing the hot water heating cylinder.

A family bathroom is also located on the first floor, featuring a traditional white bathroom suite, and full-size bath with shower over. A Velux window gives the room a bright and airy feel.

      External
The rear door of the property leads out from the kitchen to the rear garden of the property which rises up to the back of the house. A sizable storage shed is accessed adjacent to the kitchen door, providing a secure space for garden machinery and tools, also housing the dryer. The storage room also features a quirky attic room, accessed by an external staircase.

The pathway continues to the top of the garden where an area has been set aside to provide off-road parking for a single vehicle. A second storage shed is also positioned at the top of the garden, however the area is large enough to provide a second car parking space, as required.

The garden features a wide variety of mature shrubs and plants, forming a natural border with the adjoining properties and providing a seasonal display throughout the year.

From Oban, take the Calmac ferry to the Isle of Mull, arriving in Craignure. Upon leaving the ferry, turn right and follow the road for approximately 21 miles to Tobermory. At the roundabout, stay left, crossing the bridge over the river and then turn mmediately right onto Breadalbane Street. Follow Breadalbane Street for around 500 yards before taking the left turn into Albert Street. The property is located on the right-hand side, towards the top of the hill.
