About: Charlie is a Graduate Surveyor based in Bell Ingram’s Perth office, working within the Land Management team. A graduate of the University of St Andrews, Charlie holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography and Sustainable Development. During his studies, he developed a particular interest in rural and environmental land management, including peatland restoration, renewable energy, species reintroduction and the challenges facing Scotland’s rural areas.

Before joining Bell Ingram, Charlie gained practical experience working on a sporting and agricultural estate in Aberdeenshire, where he was involved in a wide range of day-to-day estate management activities including forestry, deer management, moorland management, fencing, drainage and property maintenance.

Having grown up on a smallholding in the Lothians, Charlie combines a strong interest in rural land management with practical experience of land use and rural life. Alongside his full-time role at Bell Ingram, he is studying for a Master’s in Rural Estate and Land Management at Harper Adams University while also working towards his MRICS qualification through the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
